AGGIE HALL.—The Enterprise copies from the SENTINEL a notice of Aggie Hall, who recently left here with her father to attend the Episcopal Seminary at Reno, and Judge Goodwin adds the following remarks concerning his quondam pet and playfellow: "How the years wag. It seems but yesterday since Aggie, a young lady of five summers, was wont to sit upon our knee—kiss us or fight us, as the humor was upon her: and now she is a grave maiden of more than eleven years, and for all we know, has as many beaux as she formerly had dolls or ribbons in her hair. But if she is as bright as she was in the old days and tries hard where she now is, she will make her mark in the new seminary, and if her future fulfills the promise of her little girlhood, she will make many a youth think his heart is broke in the next ten years. Her father was in town yesterday. He had just left his baby in Reno, and evidently he had left his heart there too. Uncle Dave is one of the old Pioneers, is a Vice President, we believe, of that order in Nevada. He has been in the State since about the time the sage-brush began to grow here. He was a pioneer in Austin, Hamilton and Eureka: has seen prosperity and adversity, but has always been generous to the unfortunate and true as steel to his friends. He was shaking hands with his friends yesterday, and would, we guess, have been happy except for thoughts of the little one who has kissed him good night and good morning ever since babyhood."
