Our astronomical brethren at the Southward, say that the long expected Comet now makes its appearance—that it rises about three o'clock in the morning in the north east, and is discoverable by the naked eye. It is supposed that this Comet is the same which made its appearance in October, 1532, and again in January, 1661, its period being 129 years. It is probable that its nearest approach to the sun will be in January, and that it will soon make its appearance in the evening.
