The Conspirators!!

That there is an organized band of Conspirators, composed of the leading federalists in New-England, who, by inflaming the passions of the people, are determined to excite them to rebellion, is a fact which is now placed beyond a doubt. The object of the conspirators is to effect a separation of the States, and the means of accomplishing it are to be derived from Great-Britain. It is no new plan. It has been long meditated, and nothing but the want of a proper object to operate upon the popular feeling, has prevented the explosion long before this time. When the government adhering to its pacific policy, preferred adopting the embargo system instead of resorting to war in defence of our violated rights, the faction believed that a favorable opportunity was presented to carry their project into effect.

Anti-Monarchist.
