3,958 BALLOTS ARE CAST IN FIRST DIVISION

Total Tally with Yakutat in Gives Democrats 2,377, Republicans 1,581

With Yakutat returns from the primary election received by the Federal Clerk's office today, all precincts results are now in and reveal no change in the previously announced nominations. The 52 precincts in the First Division cast a total of 2,377 Democratic ballots and 1,581 Republican, or a grand total of 3,958 votes.

The Yakutat vote in the Democratic primary was: Dimond, 21, Olson, 17, Jenne, 1, Roden, 16, Anderson, 12, Davis, 13, Hanford, 6, Krause, 9, McCormick, 7, Messerschmidt, 5, Peterson, 9, Talbot, 4, and Walker, 14. In the Republican primary, the Yakutat vote was: Al White, 58, Chase, 57, Stabler, 57, Barnes, 48, Cole, 2, Foster, 4, Hermann, 2, Price, 54, Shepard, 49, and Wilson, 5.
