LONDON, June 29.

Carnot, like Fouche, voted for the death of that most benevolent monarch, and most amiable man, Louis XVI. because he was a tyrant !! Carnot, in his usual systematick way, proceeded to commit the crime of regicide, from motives of policy! Let us refer to the record of his avowed criminality.

"In my opinion justice wills that Louis should die; and policy wills it too. I think, that in order to prove your attachment to the laws of equality, in order to prove that the ambitious do not daunt you, you should strike with death the tyrant. I vote for death."
