COMMUNICATION.

Political animosity to promote Mr. Mercer's election, it is deemed necessary that some of the most popular influential and thorough-going bloods of the county should offer themselves as candidates for the state Legislature; and I take the liberty of nominating as such, Major Burr Powell, Richard H. Henderson, Johns. n Cleveland, Wm. Chitton. Charles P. Tutt, and "Amor Patria" If two of them only are admitted, I would advise that they all be put into a large pudding bag and well shaken, the two that come out first shall be the candidates whether the people are willing to support them or not, otherwise they must have a caucus.
