Miss Marion C. Butterworth, who has for four years filled the position of secretary at the Delaware College Experiment Station and secretary for the Extension Service at that place has resigned to become financial secretary to Miss Emily Proctor of Proctor, Vt.
Miss Butterworth will assume her new duties about May first. It is understood that attractive financial considerations together with the fact that the new position is much nearer to her home has induced Miss Butterworth to make the change at this time. Miss Proctor and her brother have extensive marble quarries at Proctor and do a great deal of philanthropic work. She conducts a settlement house, known as the Cavendish House and employs a number of young college women for this work. She is interested in a great many charities and spends a goodly portion of her great wealth in this way.
