Lindsley, Muir, Dickerson and Hillard, page 241;
and in the afternoon of the same day, another corpo-
ration in Salem co. was passed by the votes of Messrs.
Dickerson, Hillard, Lindsley and Muir; page 244.
On the 22d January, 1834, The Mechanics' &
Manufacturers' Bank at Trenton was negatived, yet
we find Messrs. Dickerson and Hillard voting for
the Monster Corporation on its final passage; page
266.
On the 23d January, 1834, the vote on this Bank
was reconsidered, and to its former supporters,
Messrs. Dickerson and Hillard, we have to add the
name of Mr. Muir.
On February 5th, 1834, a corporation was estab-
lished in the county of Bergen, and we find the vote
of Mr. Muir in its favor; page 328.
On 9th February, 1834, a corporation was estab-
lished in Monmouth co., and the vote of Mr. Muir
in its favor; page 332.
On the same day a corporation in Burlington co.
was erected by the votes of Messrs. Dickerson,
Lindsley, Muir and Hillard: page 334.
On the 7th February, 1834, another corporation
was established to extend through several counties,
to which Mr. Muir gave his vote; see page 340.
On 8th February, 1834, a corporation of overgrown
capital was established at Trenton by the votes of
Messrs. Dickerson and Muir, Mr. Hillard not voting,
and Mr. Lindsley opposing it; page 349.
On 11th February, 1834, additional powers are
given to another corporation by the votes of Messrs.
Dickerson, Lindsley and Muir; see page 369.
On the 11th February, 1834, another corporation
was established at Trenton by the vote of Mr. Muir
see page 373.
On the 14th February, 1834, a bill to extend an act
entitled an act to incorporate a Bank at Paterson.
was passed by the votes of Messrs. Dickerson, Hil-
lard, Lindsley and Muir; page 386.
On the same 14th February, 1834. another corpo-
ration was established at Trenton by the votes of
Messrs. Dickerson and Muir; page 390.
On the 15th February, 1834, another corporation
was erected in Burlington county, by the votes of
Messrs. Dickerson, Lindsley, Muir and Hillard;
page 393.
February 18th, another corporation was erected in
Morris county by the votes of Messrs. Dickerson,
Hillard, Lindsley and Muir: page 405.
February 19th, a corporation was erected in Hun-
terdon, and we had Mr. Muir's vote in its favor;
page 418.
February 20th, we find Mr. Dickerson's vote re-
corded in favor of a charter of incorporation of the
Princeton Bank; page 431.
February 20th, we find Messrs. Dickerson and
Muir recording their votes for an incorporation of
the Farmers' and Mechanics' Bank at N. Brunswick;
page 432.
February 20th, we find Messrs. Dickerson and
Hillard voting for the charter of the Citizens' Bank
of Elizabeth; page 433-4.
February 21st, we find Messrs. Dickerson and
Lindsley voting to reconsider the vote on the Prince-
ton Bank bill, which had been lost: page 443.
Same day we find Messrs. Dickerson, Lindsley
and Muir voting in favor of incorporating the Me-
chanics' Bank at New Brunswick: page 446.
February 25th, we find Messrs. Hillard and Dick-
erson voting for another incorporation; page 511.
Same day, Messrs. Dickerson and Muir passed by
their votes the Princeton Bank; page 518.
February 26th, Messrs. Dickerson, Hillard, Linds-
ley and Muir by their votes passed the charter for
incorporating the Manufacturers' Bank at Belleville:
page 528.
Same day all four of the gentlemen passed a char-
ter for another corporation in Morris county; page
529.
Same day we find Messrs. Dickerson, Lindsley
and Muir voting in favor of the amended charter of
a Bank Bill: page 540.
Same day Messrs. Dickerson, Hillard and Muir,
assisted to pass another act of corporation; page 541.
The above are all private incorporations, omitting
fire associations, yet such are the present leaders of
the anti-bank and anti-monopoly party—the real
Simon Pure Republicans. (Put Hull down for that
—excommunicating him from the party for telling
the truth when we don't want it told. We will
however, do full justice and say, that although many
incorporations were granted, an equal number were
dissolved, and to which there appears to be a parti-
cular antipathy, namely, that between man and wife,
which is recognized in courts higher than any of
ours.
