Full Text

To be called up by telephone and told that if you would come down to give you a large roll of money and you were to go there and be handed over the "dough" around which was a crisp new fifty dollar "yellow fellow," you would feel kind of good, would you not?

Well, that is just the kind of a feeling a local business man had last evening when Abe H. Hustead, the well-known young merchant tailor and clothes cleaner, did at his place of business on Jackson street.

The clothes were sent down in the afternoon by the man and when Mr. Hustead felt into the pockets before dusting them he found the big roll of money with a rubber band about it. Then he got busy on the 'phone. He would accept no reward for his honesty.

You will notice that Abe's second initial is "H," that must be for honest, at least the owner of the clothes thinks so, "Honest Abe" by Hustead's name.
