Monday of the golden jubilee con-
vention of the Knights of Pythias
of
Arizona, commemorating
the
50th anniversary of the founding of
the order in this state.
Officers named to serve during
the ensuing year are: R. R. Ken-
edy, Tucson, grand chancellor; Dr.
T. B. Fitts, Nogales, grand vice
chancellor; Congressman John R.
Murdock, Tempe, grand
prelate;
John D. Loper, Phoenix, grand keep-
er of records and seals; John M.
Aitken, Phoenix, grand master of
finance; Clifford Ward, Flagstaff,
grand master at arms; J. H. Wil-
liams, Phoenix, grand inner guard;
Pascoe Ellis, Globe, grand outer:
guard; W. K. Caley, Bisbee, grand
master of work; H. R. Sisk, Nogales,
supreme representative, and Max
Shake, Ray, member of the board of
trustees.
The convention which lasted three
days was climaxed at sundown Sun-
day by a Mother's day address de-
livered in the high school stadium
by Gov. R. C. Stanford before an
audience of hundreds of persons.
