Plaintiffs Seek

Money For Melons

Another suit involving delivery of
melons by the growers to brokers,
for sale in the market, was filed
in the county clerk's office yesterday afternoon.

R. S. Dhillon, Gurcharn Singh, A.
S. Dhaliwal, P. S. Sikhon and J. D.
Mali, as partners in the Desert Fruit
and Vegetable company, filed suit
against P. J. Linde and W. A. Kendall,
vegetable brokers.

Judgment for $599.95 alleged still
due on 36 cars of melons sold by the
brokers for the company was asked
in the complaint. Of the amount
due after the brokers sold the melons,
and subtracted their commission, $7054.22 has been paid, the
complaint stated.
