OF PARCELS POST
PROVING POPULAR
The mail carriers were delivering the first C.O.D. parcels post packages in the city this morning and the newly inaugurated system, which it is said will strike new terror to the hearts of the express companies, has already proven that it is efficient and will fast become popular. Each package on which the C.O.D. is desired is tagged with a C.O.D. card about four by five inches, bearing the information necessary and this card is signed by the receiver of the package after the money is paid and is returned by the postoffice with the money to the consignor.
