FARMERS.

The people appear to be disposed to elect their Chief Magistrates from the tillers of the earth-the real democrats themselves. Thus, New York will elect Farmer Buel to preside over the councils of her state ; Ohio intends to elect Farmer Vance in the Gubernatorial chair, and the people of this Union intend to select Farmer Harrison as Executive of the United States,--Ohio Pr.

Also-the Green Mountain Boys are going to elect Farmer Jenison Governor of Vermont; the freemen of Chittenden Co. intend to elect Farmers Van Sicklen and Miller to the State Senate; and the good people of Burlington are resolved to elect a man who has got the best piece of corn, if not the best farm in Chittenden County.
