Albany Investigation,
Bradford-Bradley Trial
Albany, June 14.—Bradley testified that there was no discord or factional fight between him and Sessions, although all of the party did not indorse Sessions' action at Chicago; thought he did not tell O. P. Ingersoll he had voted for Conkling and Platt for the last time; would not make a direct answer whether he told Dunnell of the New York Times he would vote for Depew hereafter; did not think he told him or Lyman B. Smith of the Buffalo Courier that outside money was given witness by an outside lobbyist; was positive he did not tell F. M. Miller, of Chautauqua, so; do not remember saying in Kelly's cigar store, in Olean, Sunday, that there was consternation in store for the people of Albany; thought he did say he could get $500 for voting for Depew and at the same time please his constituency, but said he would not do it; did not tell the Postmaster he could get $1,500 to vote for Depew; thought that from the street and newspaper talk that some members of the Legislature could be bought; his was the only case in which he knew of an offer being made, except, perhaps, Mr. Young's. Recess.

Re-direct Examination—Was greatly excited after making speech, and gave copy of it to the first reporter who asked for it. In regard to his talks at Olean, he was thinking of the star route developments; thought he could get $500 from the lobby at Albany, because they were very energetic for Depew; have not drunk even cider since I left the Inebriate Asylum in 1872, nor sauces in which brandy or wine is used. His misstatement to his partner about signing the right of way in the Pegleg Railroad matter was the result of forgetfulness, not a desire to deceive; no one ever suggested the making of a false charge against Sessions or anyone else.
