More Hail!-The defeat of the Van Burenites in Pennsylvania appears to be quite a Waterloo affair. It is a total rout, and affords strong indications that the key stone State will be saved from the thraldom of the Baltimore packed Convention. The following are returns from 15 counties, in which there is a Whig gain of more than 10,000 votes:—
The majority for Ritner is already ascertained to be upwards of 19,000,—and a letter from Harrisburg, dated the 14th, says there can hardly be a doubt that his majority in the State will be upwards of 30,000.
'The Legislature consists of 112 members in the lower House, of which 52 Whigs are ascertained to be elected, and 10 Van Buren men.
There is also a gain of three Senators.
The Whigs rely with confidence on carrying a majority of the whole.
