Dredging at Groton Long Point to connect a small creek with the waters of Poquonnoc cove in order to provide a harbor for small boats is to begin this week. Tug Scylla and a dredge arrived there Tuesday. The tug is in charge of Captain Thomas Neilan. The dredge will start and cut an adequate waterway into the creek, which will then be dredged to uniform depth.
