SECOND WARD ACTIVE.

Petition Signed by 170 Voters Protesting Against the Vote of T. L. Smith

The citizens of the Second ward, represented by Chas. E. Fraley and T. L. Smith on the city board of education are opposed to the location of the high school on the city park site and a committee has secured the signatures of 170 persons of that ward asking that the building be more centrally located and asking Mr. Smith to represent the sentiment of his ward. Among the four members of the board that voted for Central park Mr. Smith was one and his action seems to have met with dissatisfaction among many people of his ward.
