KANSAS AND MISSOURI CROPS.

Kansas City, Mo., July 12.—The Times has reports from various parts of the grasshopper district, embracing five counties in Missouri and about the same number in Kansas, the general tenor of which show that there will be a heavy crop of corn, millet and Hungarian grasses. The flax crop will be large. Corn is growing now at the rate of two to four inches daily. A remarkable feature of its present growth is that a new kind of grass, resembling buffalo grass, is springing up in many portions of the grasshopper district. It has been raining here at intervals for two days and still continues, and people are beginning to feel anxious.
