Association Formed in New York to Hurry the Return
of Prosperity
By United Press Leased Special Wire.
NEW YORK, March 26.-Business men, financiers and the public generally take notice! Prosperity is soon to return. Just as President McKinley became the "Advance Agent of Prosperity" in 1896, the Better Times Association, incorporated at Albany last week, and established in offices of its own here to-day, is prepared to assume the task of restoring business to its highest levels.
Energy is well-nourished muscles plus well-nourished nerves.
Uneeda Biscuit are the greatest energy-makers of all the wheat foods.
In dust tight, moisture proof packages. Never sold in bulk.

Before this desirable end is attained there are heaps of trouble in store for a few individuals, however. President Roosevelt, for one, may be driven to the necessity of coining a few new expletives of a "shorter and uglier" variety; Secretary Taft will probably have to worry off a few pounds of flesh; William J. Bryan will suffer another disappointment, and Captain Harry S. New, chairman of the Republican National Committee, will be the busiest man in the country attending to the mail forced upon him through the good offices of the Better Times.
Prosperity and Politics
Prosperity and politics go hand in hand, according to the backers of the new association-that's why there is trouble ahead for the notables. The Better Times have a platform all their own, with the adoption of which they declare prosperity is bound to come. To-day bales of literature, prepared by the Better Times, including post card copies of the platform, are being shipped throughout the country. Eventually this postal flood is to be directed toward Chairman New if the plans of the Better Times do not miscarry.
A few of the planks of this platform explain the purpose of the new organization. Here they are:
"We stand pat on the Constitution, and do not want it amended by executive act, notwithstanding.
"We respect courts and resent executive interference therewith, also notwithstanding.
"We believe the country is all right -quickly convalescing from conditions caused by overfeeding and fright induced by the chief surgeon's threat to remove the patient's liver.
"We love a square deal, but not everything so labeled. We believe punishments should only follow proof of guilt, whether to colored or white, corporations or individuals; still notwithstanding."
