Pin for Gayle Kelly Shown by Knowles

On display in the window of the F. A. Knowles jewelry store is the jeweled valedictorian pin, the annual gift from Mr. Knowles to the ranking member of the senior class. This year Miss Gayle Kelly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Kelly, 927 Tenth St., will receive the pin.

Mr. Knowles has contributed the pin for 18 years. It is of standard design of 14 carat solid gold, with 11 pearls and one diamond in the center. On a black background the initials, B.H.S., and the word, "Valedictorian," are inlaid in gold. Attached to the pin is a guard, formed by the figures, "37."

The pin will be on display until the graduation exercises, when it will be presented to Miss Kelly.
