Held Their Annual Meeting at Brattleboro.
Brattleboro, Oct. 27.-The annual meeting of the Vermont Library association and Vermont Free Public Library commissioners is in session here, the meetings closing to-day. About 40 representatives and librarians from different parts of the state are in attendance. Officers were elected yesterday morning as follows: President, Miss Elizabeth McCarthy of Springfield (re-election); vice-president, Mrs. Florence H. Moses of Bennington (re-election); secretary-treasurer, Miss Iva M. Young of Bellows Falls.
At the business meeting it was voted to raise the annual dues from 50 cents to $1. The matter of convening with the New York state association next year at Lake George was left with the executive committee, also the proposition to have the state library association join the Federation of Women's Clubs.
