Chinese School.—At a meeting of the San Francisco Board of Education on Wednesday, the Superintendent was directed to open the Chinese School on Monday next. This called forth a communication in the Morning Call, signed "Many Citizens." They claim that all schools supported by the Board of Education for the purpose of educating Chinese are illegal.

They claim for themselves, the right to refuse payment of their school tax when demanded, on the ground of illegal and unlawful application thereof.

They want the question settled, by an appeal to the Supreme Court.
