On Saturday morning last, we noticed some very handsome Durham cattle just brought to this place. They were purchased at the sale of James Gowen, Esq., at his farm at Mount Airy, Philadelphia Co., on Wednesday of last week. A young bull and two heifers were purchased by Mr. B. F. Elmer. Mr. Jonathan Elmer purchased a magnificent cow, and Mr. Harris Ogden, of Fairfield purchased a cow and a heifer, all of which were full blood, short-horn Durham, and will, in time, add very materially to the wealth of the county. Several of the members of the Bowentown Farmers' Club and others have lately imported superior breed of cattle in this county, for which they deserve much credit.
