In the National Grange, in session at Louisville, the report of the executive committee was read Thursday. It says in regard to the business of the different agencies that some are doing a very large business, while in other respects they are unsatisfactory and fall short of the benefits which ought to be realized. The commission system of the order is considered false in theory and unjust to the members, and therefore in the minds of the committee another method of selling is deemed necessary. It is proposed to abolish the commission system and appoint one general agent to do business for each State, to be paid a salary out of the treasury of the grange.
