PHILS IN TRADE.

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 22.—Jack Coombs, manager of the Philadelphia National league club, has announced that Third Baseman Stock, Pitcher Dixie Davis and Catcher Dilhoefer had been traded to the St. Louis Nationals for Infielder Douglas Baird, Pitcher Gene Packard and Infielder J. S. Stewart. There was no money consideration.

Manager Coombs will start South today to select a training camp for the Phillies, who will leave here March 22. On their return East the Phillies will meet the Philadelphia American team in a series of five games, beginning April 16.
