INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS.—LAST EVENING, Grand Master E. F. James, accompanied by the officers of the Grand Lodge, went down to St. Georges, in one of McMullen & Seal's biggest and best hacks, and, after arriving there, installed the following officers in National Lodge, No. 37, I. O. O. F.

N. G., Z. F. Harris, V. G., Ed. F. Stapleford; Sec., John T. McWhorter; Per. Sec., John C. Farran; Treas., Joseph Heisel.

After the installation, the Grand Lodge officers were invited to a first-class supper, which their St. Georges Brethren had prepared in the highest style of the cuisine art. Being hungry after their long drive, the visitors did ample justice to the tempting edibles spread in profusion before them. They left the town about 12 o'clock, but, owing to the bad condition of the road,—snow, meanwhile, having fallen to a considerable depth, they did not reach Wilmington until after 3 o'clock, A. M.
