Despite the rain Sunday attendance was good. Rev. Botts spoke from II Cor. 7:4. Music furnished by Gospel Chorus and Junior Choir. Visitors were Captain and Mrs. Asa Sampson of Sequin, Texas; Mrs. Velma Johnson, Cameron, Texas; Audrey and Agatha Whatley, Kirkland, Wash.; Mrs. Geo. Wallace, Madison, Wisc.; Mr. and Mrs. Giles, Kansas City, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Douglas, Austin, Texas; Mr. W. J. Stirman and Luanna Hicks, both of Minneapolis; Rudy Jenkins of Ft. Hood, Texas, who is home on furlough. Visitors are always welcome.

Sick reports: Mrs. Nellie Carter, 1209 12th Ave. N., underwent surgery Monday. Condition is good. Mrs. Bertha Smith, 826 Plymouth N., is back home and much improved. Mrs. Lena Carr of Isanti, Minn. is ill. She is the sister of Rev. E. G. Harris.

A telephone conversation with Mrs. Velma Williams, a patient at Glen Lake, thrilled my soul this week. She reports her condition is fine.

Mrs. Lucille Scaife, 634 7th Ave. N., lost her only son Friday. Mrs. Claudia Williams lost her brother. Mrs. Williams is a former member of Zion now living in Canada since her marriage. Mrs. Ethel Prim is now released from Northwestern Hospital and residing at 1117 Dupont N.

The request program sponsored by the Senior Choir was enjoyed by a good attendance Sunday evening.

Mrs. E. Henderson, reporter.
