Dancer Having Hot Time Over Hot Dance
OKLAHOMA CITY. Jan. 8.-IP)-
Evelyn West, visiting burlesque queen from Los Angeles, is still having trouble cooling her Hollywood dance routine down to official Oklahoma City temperatures.
She was first arrested at the Club Jamboree on Dec. 27 and charged with disorderly conduct. In Police Court Monday she failed to convince the judge her dance was "classical" and paid a $20 fine and costs.
Last night two art critics from the vice squad dropped in at the club and reviewed her latest show.
They charged her with disorderly conduct all over again.
