BELTON, July 16—Miss Marian Frances Stoffer, McAllen, was given recognition for her unusual scholastic record at Mary Hardin-Baylor college this week when Dean E. G. Townsend announced his list of those who had made no grade below "B" in any course for the spring term.
Other Valley girls on his honor roll are Misses Emily Edwards, Weslaco; Jamie Lee Green, Mary Lee Koniakowsky, and Bonnie Ruth Whitworth, Harlingen; Mary Iwai and Mary Mattison, Donna; Evelyn Parr, Raymondville; Dorothy Sue Perry and Helen Teal Stotler, Mercedes; Lorene Young, Lyford; Wilva Scott, Santa Rosa; Mary Louise Walker, Alamo; and Ann Elizabeth Rohr, Edcouch.
