Eau Claire Wins 2 To Tie Up Playoff

Eau Claire, Wis., Sept. 28.-(A.P.):

The Northern League championship playoff series was all tied up at three games each Monday. Following Eau Claire's double victory over Winnipeg Sunday.

The Bears, trailing by two runs going into the last of the ninth of the first game, rallied for three runs and a 4-3 win, and then pounded out 18 hits in the six-inning nightcap to knot the series with a 9-8 victory.

The second game was called because of darkness.

The Bears won the second game in the first inning, by pounding Uffelman for five runs. The scores:
