WILLIAM COBBETT.
The unprincipled and versatile Cobbett, has given a new evidence of his ultra-principles. He has come out warmly, and to the utmost extent of their wishes, the advocate of the Orangemen of Ireland. He calls upon the British ministry to support this bloody faction at any expense. He would remove the lord lieutenant; he would yet further press upon the Catholics of Ireland; he would do any act of baseness and injustice if by so doing he could secure to the Orangemen the lawless government of Ireland. In all this we see nothing inconsistent; Cobbett is a thorough-going John Bull. He would keep Ireland and the East and West Indies and all the world, if he could, as slaves to England. He is as errant an Aristocratic Englishman as lives.
