Indian Depredations—From the Arkansas Gazette of October 2d, we have the following :

We learn by gentlemen from Crawford county, that the Osage Indians have recently attacked and robbed a party of Surveyors under Major Laughlin, who were engaged in surveying and running the boundary line of the cession made by that nation to the United States last year, west of this Territory and Missouri. No personal injury, we understand, was offered or inflicted on the party. The Indians implicated in the robbery had been secured by the Agent, and were in confinement at Fort Towson, at our last advices,
