The General Missionary Baptist Convention of Mississippi will convene with the Baptist churches in Grenada July 17, 18, 19, 20. The Rev. C. C. Coleman of Grenada will be host pastor. The Rev. R. W. West of Bolton is president and the Rev. C. L. West, also of Bolton, is Executive Secretary.
Three thousand or more Negro Baptists will attend the four-day meeting which will be the 73rd annual session of the body.
The Women's Auxiliary of the Convention will also hold its annual session at the same time. The Auxiliary is headed by Dr. Elnora McGowan of Edwards.
Many representatives from churches in Holmes County will attend.
