RUTH BLAKEY WINS NEW
CAR IN DRAWING

St. James A.M.E. church, Dale and W. Central avenues, sponsored a Car Drawing on Monday of this week at Norway Hall in Minneapolis.

Chairman of the project was Mr. M. R. Burgess, 970 Rondo ave., with Mr. Lester E. Boyd as vice-chairman.

Winner of the first prize, a 1956 - 4-door Plymouth sedan was Mrs. Ruth Blakey, 472 W. Central avenue.

The second prize was a TV set won by J. Maloney, 926 Woodbridge street, and the third prize, a radio combination went to J. H. Kelly, 1515 Railroad street. Helena, Montana.

One of the visiting Shriners to the Twin Cities Gala Days drew the lucky names.
