MANY REGISTERING TO GET NEW JOBS

Nearly 200 Enrolled Since Reemployment Office Opened Last Week

A large number of persons have already registered for employment in the five days the local office of the National Reemployment Service has been in operation since last Wednesday, it was stated today by C. M. Cooper, Jr., the manager.

Mr. Cooper said that registrations were at the rate of about forty per day for three days last week. It is estimated that close to 200 have been listed.

The office is located in the grand jury room on the second floor of the court house, and those whose names are not already listed with the manager are asked to do so at once if they wish to be on the rolls for employment when jobs open up as the spring season comes.
