Last Week as the Corpse of Mrs. Sorell, late of East-Street, near Red-Lion Square,
was going to be interred in Exex, they were met at some Distance from the Place of
Interment by a Mob of Country-People, who immediately began to strip the Hearse,
Coaches, and Horses, not only of the Escutcheons, but also of the Feathers and Velvet;
so that before they reached the Church, the greatest Part of the Hearse's and Horse's
Furniture was carried off. One of the Ringleaders was taken, and as several others are
known, it is not doubted but they will meet with a Punishment suitable to the Offence.
