Petersburg, May 28. It is reported, that the Veldt-Marshall Count Lacy, who had begun his March towards the Crimea, hearing of the miserable Condition of that Country, and the Distempers which reign in it, has laid aside the Design of returning thither this Campaign, and began his March towards Azoph, as well to cover that Place in case of a Siege, as to attack a Body of Janizaries actually marching thither, who are to be join'd by the Tartars.

We have receiv'd Advice from the Ukraine, that the Sultan of Belgorod is come to encamp with his Army near the Niester, where he is to wait the Orders of the new Grand Vizier; and the Veldt-Marshall Count Munich has sent a Detachment of Horse towards the Bogs in order to observe the Movements of the Sultan.
