National Music Week Celebration At Alcorn College

The Alcorn College Music Department will make its contribution to the 36th Annual Observance of National Music Week, May 3rd-10th.

The programs follow:

A varied program of sacred choral music will be sung by the college choir. Miss Dorothy Evans will speak on the National Theme: "There's Magic in Music-Use It."

Choral music ranging from the 18th Century composer J. S. Bach to modern works will be represented on the program.

The College Ensemble will present the Sacred Cantata, "The Beatitudes" by E. L. Ashford.

Tuesday evening May 5th.

A cordial invitation is extended to the public to hear these programs of sacred music to be held in Oakland Memorial Chapel, Alcorn A. M. College, Lorman, Mississippi.
