Full Text

March 28. A letter from Princetown, in New Jersey, North America, dated February 9th, says: "The college of Nassau Hall, in this place, is at present in a very flourishing situation. Dr. Wotherspoon, the President of the college, is greatly, deservedly, and universally esteemed amongst us. He is the very man for us. The greatest accession of students was made this fall that ever was, in any one season, since the foundation of the institution. The Doctor has just returned from Boston and New York, where he has collected a considerable sum of money towards establishing a fund for increasing the salaries of the Professors. I dare say it will give great pleasure to all the generous benefactors to this seminary to hear these favourable accounts of the daughter of their charity."
