Pvt. Longtree To Leave U. S. For Far East

Private Clarence Longtree arrived in Poplar February 23 to spend an 18 day furlough from Camp Fort Ord, California.

Pvt. Longtree, upon completion of this furlough, will report to Camp Stoneman, Calif., for shipment to the Far East Command, where he will join the 25th Division in Japan.

Pvt. Longtree enlisted in Wolf Point January 19 for five years. Going from Wolf Point to Butte for further examinations, he was then sent to Fort Ord for a short training period.
CLARENCE LONGTREE TRANSFERRED TO JAPAN

Clarence Longtree Inf., returned from Camp Fort Ord, Calif., last week and will soon leave for Fort Camp Stoneman, Calif., where he will embark for Japan on overseas duty.
