Masons Prohibited From Meeting.

NEW YORK, April 8.-A special dispatch from Havana, says: The name of the English schooner from which Gen. Antonio Maceo and his companions are supposed to have landed on Cuban soil is the "Honor" of eighteen tons.

Governor-General Callejo has prohibited all meetings of Masonic lodges throughout the island.

No news of the revolution in the interior was received here yesterday.

A band of revolutionary guerrillas, under command of Emilio Matamaras, which has been menacing Songo, were defeated Friday in a skirmish on the road to Socorro. Matamaras was killed during the engagement.
