Messrs. Bynum and Garland.—The disgraceful scene which took place between these two individuals upon the floor of the House of Representatives, has been made the subject of an investigation by a committee of the House appointed for that purpose. The committee have reported, but offer no new facts, nor do they venture any opinion or recommend any specific action. This disgraceful affair will undoubtedly be passed over without further action on the part of the House, and those guilty of this gross insult to the people and the country be suffered to escape the punishment they so richly deserve.—Farmer's Cabinet.
