Load of Stone Drops
On Chicago Official;
Later Dies in Hospital

CHICAGO, Ill., Nov. 1. - Henry A. Burger, trustee of the Sanitary District of Chicago, was killed today when a load of stone toppled from the thirty-fourth story of a new North La Salle Street building and crushed him.

Burger was walking to his office, a block away, when the stone dropped to the sidewalk. At first it was believed the driver of a light delivery truck had been struck but Burger was identified before he died at a hospital, by his law partner, Benjamin F. Goldstein.
