Arizona Railway Man Asks Murder Case Be Appealed

PHOENIX, Ariz. Dec. 16.—Appeal was filed in the supreme court of Arizona today in the case of Ben T. de Woody, convicted in the superior court of Pima county, at Tucson, of murder in connection with the killing of George W. Rumfield, September 11 last, at Rillito, where de Woody was a railroad section foreman.

According to testimony in the trial in the Pima county superior court, the killing was the result of a dispute between Rumfield and de Woody, who were partners in a small store and tract of farm land.
