MEMPHIS, Tenn., March 17.—The Southern industrial conference of the American Mining Congress had before its concluding session here today resolutions which would approve bills now before congress for research activity on potash in the south, endorsing control of malaria and endorsing public rather than private use of Muscle Shoals.
"The potash resolution" would call for approval of bills now in congress to provide for research work in the potash fields of Texas and other southern states.
