Public Health Meet.
The Florida Public Health Association met in Orlando December 2, 3 and 4th, for its seventh annual meeting, at the Orange Court Hotel. This meeting was well attended by public health workers from all parts of Florida.
Some of the outstanding speakers on the program were: Dr. Holbert L. Dunn, chief statistician for vital statistics of the U. S. Bureau of Census; Dr. Kendall Emerson, Managing Director of the National Tuberculosis Association; Dr. James P. Leake, Surgeon of the U. S. Public Health Service; Dr. Edward S. Dodfrey, Epidemiologist of the New York State Health Department; Dr. James R. McCord of Emory University, representing the Children's Bureau of Washington, D. C., and Miss Malinde Havey of the National Red Cross and others.
Miss Mildred Eikel, the local county nurse, was present at this meeting and reported a very good meeting.
