They were formerly man and wife, but divorced in June, 1887. The lady and her child have been living in Hagerstown with relatives, but Tuesday night the doctor stole them away. The clerk of the court was out of town, but the deputy clerk was aroused from his bed, license procured, and the couple were married in the hotel parlors at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. The doctor claims that their divorce after their first marriage was brought about by relatives who caused trouble between them.
