From the Baltimore Chronicle.

In the following statement of the late election of Maryland, the vote of the highest candidate on each side has been taken. In St. Mary's County the Jackson party made no opposition, so feeble was their strength, if however opposition had been started, Clay's majority would not have been less than 900 votes.

If at this election, electors for President and Vice President had to be elected, in the district composed of Baltimore County a Jackson elector would have been elected. In the district composed of Harford and Cecil, a Clay elector would have been elected by a majority of 9 votes. In the district composed of Anne Arundel County and the cities of Baltimore and Annapolis two electors for Clay would have been elected by a majority of 59. In all the other districts electors for Mr. Clay would have been elected by respectable majorities. The vote of Maryland consequently would have been 10 for Clay and 1 for Jackson.
