THE ELECTION IN RHODE ISLAND.

The election of Electors, of President and Vice President, takes place on the 19th inst. The Jackson party are busy and active in all the country towns, and it behooves the friends of the present Administration to be up and doing. We have a large majority in this State, and we do not wish to have our Electors chosen by a small or lean one. It is the duty of every man to go to the polls; to record his vote for the present wise and patriotic Chief Magistrate of our beloved country. Activity is all that is wanting, to ensure one of the fullest votes ever given in this State. No question was ever more important; no one in which Rhode Island had more at stake. She must do her duty.
