National Brotherhood Week
To Honor Servicemen

NEW YORK, Feb. 19 (ANP)—Both Negro and white service men will be honored during National Brotherhood week, opening Feb. 18 and continuing through Feb. 25 in USO centers. Music of all faiths, brotherhood forums with service personnel and civilians, essay contests and inter-creedal and inter-racial meetings are included in the week's activities.

"National Brotherhood Week," Ray Johns, USO director of operations, explained, "was conceived by the National Conference of Christians and Jews as a means of reaffirming the brotherhood of man and of fostering its practice through inter-racial and inter-faith observances. Because of the inter-faith nature of USO, it is fitting that we join, for the second year, in observing this important American event."
